FORTHCOMING EVENTS


FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH
MEET AT THE HALF MOON IN SHEET 7.00 TO 9.00 PM
Get-together for all, newcomers welcome.

Wednesday 4th October  BEETLE DRIVE at the Half Moon, Sheet.
Baked Potato with fillings (13 per head)
Please pay Peter Lesniak by 26th September if you are coming as the Half Moon need to know our numbers in advance.  We are inviting other local - including Twinning - groups.  There will be a raffle too - so please offer a prize if you can!

Monday 23rd October to Saturday 10th November
Two work experience students from Warendorf,
Isabella (17) and Simon (17), will be hosted by Bob and Dinah Duffy and David and Irene Jeffery respectively.  Isabella will be employed at the Petersfield Post; Simon will be helping at T.P.S., the Library and One Tree Books.
If you can offer either (or both) of these some hospitality, a meal, an outing etc. during their stay, please get in touch with David Jeffery (01730263889). Thank you!

Wednesday 15th November  GRAND QUIZ
At the Half Moon, 7.00 for 7.30pm, to be run by Jenny and Philip Brenchley.
Food: baked potato with fillings (13 per head).
A raffle will be held during the evening and other groups from the town and elsewhere are to be invited.

2018 VISITS:
The dates for our visit to Barentin and the Warendorfers' visit to Petersfield are still to be confirmed, but we can expect that they will be timed, as usual, for late May and late August respectively.  We will send you an email as soon as we know the details.
